Ramses V3
Ramses V3
The Next Iteration For The Kingdom
RAMSES V3 will make the RAMSES empire a unified stronghold of innovation and an incarnation of an ideal DEX.
A full audit of our V3 contracts will be done prior to the migration from V2.
The Road Ahead
Ramses' V3 development will have multiple stages and some will come prior to the official migration + substantial changes. In the pages ahead we will break down what will come from them.
Changes
Permanent Voting Escrow Locks (Burn to Earn)
The concept of relocking each week will become a thing of the past, making veNFT management significantly more user friendly. veNFTs will now BURN the RAM upon creation, and will stay permanently locked. Users with veNFT locks under a TBD threshold will be able to redeem for liquid "newRAM"
Active-Rebases
To keep users enaged, we are also implementing an active rebasing system. This means that users will need to participate in the weekly governance process of directing emissions (voting) to earn rebases.
Migration of The RAM token
The current RAM token (Deployed over a year ago) is behind a Proxy contract. While upgradability of the token has been killed, we believe removing the existence of a Proxy on the token will help bolster trust and security of the overall token. This process will be made very seamless.
Gas Savings and Modernizing
To further enhance the gas savings of our V3 implementation, we will be optimizing our contracts and upgrading from 0.7.6 to ^0.8.
Immutable Contracts
In our V3 deployment, we will be making all core contracts fully immutable, and unable to be upgraded or modified. Voter and FeeCollector will be maintained as proxies incase there are any changes to the fee distribution mechanisms. While this is a drastic change from our previous iterations which relied on proxy contracts for storage; with our new optimizations we are able to deploy immutably. This change allows users to have a deeper sense of safety and security when interacting with Ramses.
